Teen Therapy with Madeleine Lawson, LMFT: In-Person in Sandy Springs, GA and Virtually Statewide

Teens today are coming of age in a world dramatically different from the world in which their parents grew up. Rapidly evolving technology and the resulting social trends toward isolation have left many American teenagers feeling disconnected from peers, overwhelmed by the never-ending newsreel at their fingertips, and deeply uncertain about their purpose and place in the world.

Many teens crave a forum in which to be taken seriously, to unwind the contents of their minds and discover what in their character is solid, steady, and worth nurturing.

My work with teens centers warm, enjoyable, fun (& occasionally silly) conversations about the things that matter most. Conversations that develop the skills and strengths teens need to stay true to themselves and their emergent values in a landscape awash in micro-trends, propaganda, and the allure of false shortcuts.

I help teens & young adults overcome hardship, find their voice, and move with confidence toward connection and purpose.
